Surprised? Me too. Shocked? Right there with you. Thrilled for us? So am I. Let's just say that I didn't quite think I had enough change going on in my life and I decided to throw in some more, just for good measure.
We have another little one on the way and are expecting an early July arrival. The siblings will be 16 months apart. And I will need a lot of medication. We have known for several weeks, but it is still kind of scary to announce this to the world. However, after seeing the little heartbeat today we feel better about sharing the news. It took us over a year to have Bennett with several bumps along the way, so this next one was "planned," but with the thought it would take as long as it did to have Bennett. Nope. It didn't.
So, here I go again. For those of you that don't know I had a very complicated pregnancy with Bennett. So I am currently on three progesterone pills a day, 2 shots of blood thinners every day, two pre-natal vitamins, one dose of baby aspirin, and a partridge in a pear tree.
But isn't God amazing?

Seriously. I am crying. Amazing news Lauren. And lots of prayers headed at you!
What an amazing gift the Lord has given you guys! I'm so happy for you and look forward to meeting my newest cousin in July!! Early July, huh? No chance for the 24th? Love you guys and will commit to pray for all of you every single day.
Amazing and Oh my Goodness all in the same breath! We are so happy for you! Can I please come help you pack or you bring Bennett over here to play with Addie for the day? Anything we can do to help, we will! And we'll pray! God has a precious plan here and He's got you and that sweet baby in the palm of your hands! We love ya'll!
Wow! I didn't know you have such complicated pregnancies. I will keep you in my prayers. Pregnancy is hard enough without all the extra precautions you are having to take!
Wayne and I were so excited about getting to know y'all and minister with y'all. I'm just sorry it didn't get to happen more. We will and are praying for the new little one. Selling a house and looking for a job is not very fun, is it?
That is awesome! I am so happy for you all and will be praying for you, your health and this new little blessing every day.

Wow Lauren! I just got back from a weekend trip and read this. I am soooo excited for you. Yes, it will be hectic, but such a joy and blessing all at the same time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Maybe Bennett and Joshua can hang out and crawl around before you leave.....call me!!!!
I know I already told you this today, but I AM SO DANG EXCITED FOR YOU!!
If you need brownies (sprinkled with Valium, j/k(?)) let me know!
You are in our prayers!
Jameson is super happy that he's not going to be the runt of the family anymore! We're so very excited for you and we say prayers for our new baby cousin every night. James James? Little Alabama? We can't wait!!
Okay....so I'm behind on reading your blog and then I read this! WOW! Congratulations. Don't worry...we have great doctors here in KC! And, we have Children's Mercy Hospital right here, too! Hope Bennett is feeling better. How is Mommy feeling????
One more thing, Lauren.... Worried about the kids being only 16 months apart? You will be able to get some great tips from Cory Ryan at COR (worship leader for the new Vibe service) whose wife just had twin boys..... OR ask our other resident expert at COR, Nick Ransom (KidsCor director), father of triplet boys who I believe just turned one! You will be in great company!
